PermaRail Plus® porch railing kits include components and ready-to-install pre-built sections. Our porch rails and columns comply with IBS up to 10' in length and IRC in lengths up to 12'. The Code Compliance Research Report for PermaRail Plus® porch railing kits (CCRR-0262) can be found in the information center. These porch railing systems are durable, low maintenance, and come prefinished with no painting required, with:
- Porch railings that are 36” and 42” in height
- Balusters in 1.25” and 1.5" square sizes and a turned baluster option

Square Newel and Newel Cap
The newel sleeve for porch railing kits is designed to fit over a 4x4 pressure-treated wood post or Newel-Loc Square Newel Post Mount system. (Newel-Loc is sold separately from the Newel Post Sleeve.) Consider using the Chesterfield newel and newel support kit to add a decorative look to your porch railings. Be sure to use the Coastal Newel Post Mount System in areas where coastal effect corrosion is a concern.
HB&G also offers decorative panels for PermaRail Plus® porch rails. The above image shows the Spiderweb panel. Other panels include Chippendale and Circle Center.
